In addition to free seminars and kids’ activities, there will be pro staff and manufacturer’s representatives in the store to answer questions, give insight into products and provide tips on hunting topics, Dutch Oven cooking and tasting demonstrations, giveaways and numerous conservation partners highlighting their organizations.
According to the Nevada Department of Wildlife’s (NDOW) website and annual report completed in February, hunting activities will boost the state’s economy by $145 million per year. That doesn’t take into account millions of dollars in fishing ($272 million) and wildlife watching ($362 million) that outdoorsmen spend on those activities in Nevada.
Some of the seminar highlights include trophy field care tips by Tim Burnett of SoloHunters TV, hunting dog tactics by SportDog’s Gregg Tanner, the importance of life jackets by the National Safe Boating Council’s Fred Messmann, backcountry camping secrets by Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation’s Les Smith, benefits of braided line by Cabela’s and Pautzke pro staffer Mike Nielsen and Eagle Lake tips that get proven results by Rick Kennedy of Tightlines Guide Service.
