Brian Sandoval said in a press release. “This campaign comes at a critical time and represents an opportunity for the commission to introduce Nevada to a fresh group of business leaders, encouraging them to consider doing business in Nevada. It is also an opportunity for the state to help stimulate economic growth and keep Nevada competitive during this challenging time.”
The web-based campaign features a series of online banner ads and video vignettes. Companies and executives featured include Zappos.com CEO Tony Hsieh, Cord Blood America CEO Matt Schissler, ElectraTherm CEO John Fox and Click Bond Chief Operating Officer Collie Hutter.
Empowering Success is designed to capture the attention of business leaders, C-suite executives, directors, managers and entrepreneurs in select markets such as Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego and San Francisco, Calif.; Seattle, Wash.; and Raleigh/Durham, N.C.
Banner ads will appear on a variety of business, news, finance and technology focused Web sites, such as Fox News, Business Daily News, Newsweek, Time, Forbes, the New York Post and USA Today.
This campaign is a comprehensive marketing effort for NCED as it helps diversify Nevada and provides important information to businesspeople contemplating a move to the state.
