RENO — On Thursday, a Carson City man replied to an ad on Craigslist that claimed to be selling an i-Pad. While meeting with two men in Reno, he became suspicious and left. The next day, he discovered that these two men may have been involved in robberies and filed a police report.

On Friday, he saw a similar ad on Craigslist. He called the number listed in the ad, and discovered that it was in fact the same two men from the previous night. He called the Reno Police Department to report the advertisement.

After setting up a deal with the ad’s owner, Reno Police Department Patrol Division and Detectives from the Regional Street Enforcement Team arrested Owen Osazuwa and Justin Omogun in a Reno area store parking lot. The two suspects later admitted to committing two different robberies with the use of Craigslist.
