RENO — The Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Company is bringing a free performance of a one-hour children’s adaptation of the classic Shakespeare comedy “Twelfth Night” to the Robert Z. Hawkins Amphitheater in Bartley Ranch Regional Park at 7 p.m. Monday.

This special performance is presented by the festival’s D.G. Menchetti Young Shakespeare Program.

The D.G. Menchetti Young Shakespeare Program serves as an internship program for young and aspiring actors/artists. The program is modeled after a fully professional production process, complete with a rigorous rehearsal period and a full company of professional actors, designers and production team members.

All performances of the D.G. Menchetti Young Shakespeare Program’s production of “Twelfth Night” are free to young people of all ages and their chaperones. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis and reservations are required due to the popularity of the performances.
