RENO — The Atlantis Casino Resort Spa is the host location for a new weekly poker show, “High Stakes Hold’em,” set to debut on Comcast SportsNet California at 10 p.m. on Aug. 3.

“High Stakes Hold’em” is a 15-week series, comprised of one-hour episodes, created by Red Deck Productions and filmed entirely at the Atlantis. It is the first poker television show to be exclusively filmed in Reno.

The series will feature 13 episodes filmed at a high stakes ring game of invited poker professionals inside the Atlantis Steakhouse. Two special episodes feature the main event final table of the inaugural 2011 Atlantis All In Poker Series, which took place on March 27 and attracted marquee professional and amateur poker enthusiasts from around the globe.

The ring game episodes feature Daniel “djk123” Kelly, Jesse McGinty, John “Nicolak” Kim, Brent “astrolux85” Roberts, Dan Harmetz and Mike Nelson. Analysis for the show is provided by Eric Ulis and 2007 World Series of Poker Player of the Year Tom Schneider.

The Atlantis will host a viewing party at 10 p.m. on Aug. 3. For more information, visit
