RENO — This summer, thousands of home improvement projects will be taken on with the help of Waste Management’s (WM) Bagster Dumpster in a Bag. In celebration, WM is launching The Bagster Summer Home Improvement Project promotion. This promotion will live online at www.thebagsterproject.com and serves as a place for consumers to get summer project ideas and special summer offers. Visitors to the site can also connect with other do-it-yourself (DIY) enthusiasts to share their project ideas and tips throughout the summer.
Promotional support will include The Bagster Summer Home Improvement Project Sweepstakes, an online sweepstakes featuring a $10,000 grand prize toward the home improvement project of the winner’s choice. Entries can be submitted online through Aug. 14. The site also contains detailed information about the sweepstakes, including the official rules. The winning entry will be selected in a random drawing on Aug. 22.
The Bagster is quickly becoming a popular choice for summer home improvement project waste removal because it’s a cost-effective, on-demand solution for both DIY enthusiasts and professional contractors.
“Bagster bag is the ideal waste removal solution for summer projects,” said Justin Caporusso, WM spokesperson. “Many of our customers have told us how easy it was to do their project with the Bagster bag since they could buy it when they needed it and keep it as long as their project took.”
The Bagster bag is a highly durable woven bag that can hold up to 3,300 pounds or up to three cubic yards of debris, including full sheets of drywall, doors and even a bathtub. Users can purchase a bag and use it for as long as they need. When the project is complete or the bag is full, customers can schedule collection, and a local WM team will collect the bag from the curb within three business days.
The Bagster bag sells for $29.95 at local home improvement and hardware stores. When it’s full, customers can schedule a collection online or through WM at 877-789-2247. Collection costs $79 to $159, depending on the area — 50 to 70 percent less than a dumpster rental.
