TMCC to unveil new nursing program

RENO — Truckee Meadows Community College will recognize a donation from the Maxine S. Jacobs Foundation in an official naming ceremony at 11 a.m. Friday at the college’s Dandini Campus. The ceremony, which will honor the foundation’s namesake and late wife of Herb Jacobs, will include an unveiling of the sign for the newly named Maxine S. Jacobs Nursing Program, the top-rated nursing program in Nevada.

Dr. Maria Sheehan, president of TMCC, and Herb Jacobs will be joined by members of the Nevada System of Higher Education board of regents and members of the TMCC Foundation in room 413 of the Red Mountain Building at the Dandini Campus.

Parking is available in the main lot in front of the Red Mountain Building
