UNR student groped on her way to school

RENO — Police are looking for a person who allegedly grabbed a female University of Nevda, Reno, student as she walked to class.

At 11:10 a.m. Tuesday, the 27-year-old student was walking to the campus when she was physically attacked from behind in the 200 block of University Terrace by an unknown suspect. The suspect grabbed the woman’s buttocks and breasts. She fought the suspect and was able to run away and call the police.

The suspect is described as a black male between 18 and 21 years old, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 140 to 160 pounds and wearing knee-length blue shorts and a white or gray T-shirt. He has a muscular build, short cropped hair and was clean shaven. He was last seen running west on University Terrace.
