RENO — A man accused of shoplifting has been arrested after being recognized a day later by store employees.

On Tuesday, James Crain, 43, entered the deli section of the Sak ‘N Save store at 4995 Kietzke Lane. The manager recognized Crain as a possible shoplifter from the previous day. The manager made contact with Crain as he was attempting to exit the store without paying for the items. Crain allegedly placed his hand in his pocket and told the manager if he tried to stop him that he would cut him with a knife. Crain then exited the store and was last seen walking west toward the rear of Wal-mart.

Reno police officers Adam Jackins and Ashley Harms were in the area and located Crain. The officers detained Crain, who later was identified by the store manager.

Anyone with information regarding this crime is asked to contact the Reno Police Department at 334-4266 or Secret witness at 322 -4900.
