Heroin ring taken down

SPARKS – On June 17, detectives of the Regional Street Enforcement Team (SET) initiated an investigation into a group of suspected heroin dealers. As a result of this investigation, a search warrant was obtained and executed at 800 Nichols Blvd. in Sparks on Friday. As a result, 441.9 grams of heroin and 302.2 grams of cocaine were recovered.  The street value of the Heroin recovered is estimated at $30,000 and the cocaine at about $24,000.
