ELY – The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Ely District is soliciting public comment on the Management Plan and Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Weepah Spring and Worthington Mountains Wilderness Areas, located in Lincoln County.

The 45-day public comment period concludes Friday, Aug. 12. Interested individuals should address all written comments to the Bureau of Land Management, Ely District Office, HC 33 Box 33500, Ely, NV, 89301, Attn: Emily Simpson.

Information about the Weepah Spring and Worthington Mountains Wilderness Management Plan is available online at www.blm.gov/nv.

The BLM is preparing a single management plan for the two wilderness areas because of their proximity and similarity of issues.
