RENO — At noon Saturday at the Washoe Masonic Lodge at 601 E. Peckham Lane, Job’s Daughters International in Reno is holding its semi-annual installation of officers, a ceremony in which the members are given their offices that they will hold for the next six months. The community is invited to the ceremony to learn more about the organization.

Job’s Daughters is a leadership organization that provides girls from the ages of 10 to 20 with a wholesome environment to grow and learn based on the foundation of high morals, love of country, love of family and friends and respect for others throughout the world. Its members gain leadership skills through self-governing. The girls learn how to work together to achieve their goals, how to raise money and spend it wisely, and how to speak to an audience through their self-run business meetings.

Job’s Daughters also raises money for Hearing Impaired Kids Endowment (HIKE), which provides hearing-assistive devices for children in need.
