RENO — To commemorate Headache Awareness Week June 5 through June 11, Family First Chiropractic will be hosting a free community seminar at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29, at Scheels to provide expert information, support and advice to people affected by headaches.

Doctors Jack Nolle, D.C. of Family First Chiropractic and Katania Taylor, O.M.D. of Nancy Conley M.D. Family and Integrated Medicine, will be on hand to show participants how to reduce or eliminate headaches in a safe, natural way. Topics will include the different types of headaches and their causes, self-help tips to treat your headaches and how complementary therapies and lifestyle changes can benefit headache sufferers.

Millions of people suffer from chronic headaches. Nolle says “Often, medications don’t have a lasting benefit or have unwanted side effects. Many people who have headaches can help themselves by better understanding common causes and triggers. By joining us for a friendly, open and informal evening they can learn more about headaches and take home practical tips and advice.”

The education seminar will be taking place on June 29 at Scheels, The Legends at the Sparks Marina located at 1200 Scheels Drive in Sparks. Reservations are encouraged by calling Family First Chiropractic at 775-284-3333.

For additional information on the Headache Seminar, or alternative headache treatment methods, contact Michelle Barthuly, Family First Chiropractic Director of Community Education at 775-284-3333.
