WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama will travel to Reno on Thursday to hold a “Shared Responsibility and Shared Prosperity” town hall where he will discuss his vision for bringing down the national deficit.

Obama’s arrival on Air Force One as well as the town hall will be closed to the public.

The Reno town hall will be held at ElectraTherm Inc., a small renewable energy company on Turbo Circle. The event will be similar to discussions the president will hold in northern Virginia and at Facebook Headquarters in Palo Alto, Calif., where he will speak about deficit reduction, shared responsibility and shared prosperity.  On Wednesday, Obama laid out his vision of a fiscal plan while continuing to make investments to create jobs and grow the economy.

ElectraTherm’s product, the Green Machine, generates fuel-free, emission-free power from low to mid temperature waste heat using the company’s patented technology.
