Man slashed in fight over dog

RENO — A man has been arrested for cutting another man in the face with a pocket knife in a fight over a dog.

At 7:03 p.m. Saturday, Reno police officers responded to 650 Record St. on a report of a stabbing.  The investigation revealed that the victim was involved in an altercation over a dog with Thomas Horst Snow, 62. The argument escalated with Snow allegedly cutting the victim in the face with a pocket knife. Horst was located on scene by officers and taken into custody. The injuries to the victim are non-life-threatening.
