RENO — The Reno Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect who is responsible for Sunday’s burglary at the Flowing Tide Pub. The vehicle is described as an extended-cab pickup, possibly an early model Toyota Tundra, dark in color, with chrome running boards on each side. The vehicle appears to have specialized rims other than stock.

The Flowing Tide Pub, located at 4960 Longley Lane, was burglarized at about 6:30 a.m. The suspect used a large ram to make entry into the closed and unoccupied business through the rear door. Four slot machines were pried open and the contents removed from the machines before the unknown suspect(s) fled. Although no suspects are known at this time, police also are investigating similar crimes on prior days. Therefore, businesses are asked to use reasonable precautions and citizens are asked to contact the police and report any suspicious subjects loitering near closed businesses.

Anyone who has information about this crime is asked to contact Secret Witness at 322-4900, or the Reno Police Department Detective Division at 334-2115.
