RENO — Washoe County’s Link Piazzo Dog Park in Hidden Valley Regional Park will be closed from April 4 through April 22 so that the county’s Regional Parks and Open Space department can conduct seasonal turf maintenance.

Both the large and small dog areas will be closed during the three-week period.

The dog park will re-open at 8 a.m. on April 23.

Seasonal turf maintenance is important and necessary in order to keep the lawn areas healthy and the dog park in the best possible condition. The county’s Regional Parks and Open Space department wants the public to know that their patience during these maintenance closures is greatly appreciated.

Hidden Valley Regional Park is managed by Washoe County’s Regional Parks and Open Space department. For more information, visit www.washoecountyparks.com.
