download Unsolved Female Homicides in Rural Nevada
CARSON CITY — The Nevada Threat Analysis Center (NTAC), a division of the Nevada Department of Public Safety, is seeking information on unsolved rural county female homicides and missing person cases.

For more than a year, the NTAC's Terrorism Liaison Officer (TLO) program has collected information from law enforcement officials concerning unsolved rural female homicides and selected missing person cases. The cold cases have occurred between 1972 and 2010. NTAC now has a master unsolved female homicide list that has been made available for cold case investigators in several states. Unsolved male cold case homicide research is currently underway.

In furtherance of these investigations, the NTAC is requesting the public's assistance in developing potential leads. Victims in 10 of the 18 unsolved cases have not been identified. The investigations do not include cold cases from Washoe or Clark counties.

To view a description of these cases, click on the PDF attached to this article. Anyone having possible leads regarding these cases is asked to contact Jim Lopey at 687-0450 or e-mail ntac@dps.state.nv.us.
