Attempted sexual assault north of Reno

STEAD — On Tuesday, an officer from the Reno Police Department responded to the 13000 block of Stead Boulevard on a report of a possible attempted sexual assault. The adult female victim said she was walking in the area of 13000 Green Mountain and Rocky Mountain streets when two men exited a white sedan and tried to pull her into the vehicle while also attempting to remove her clothes. The victim was able to fight off her attackers and ran to a nearby market.

The suspects are described as two unknown-race males wearing black hoodies and masks. One suspect had a knife. The victim is seven months pregnant and was taken to Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center for observation.
