The complaint alleges that Telestaffing, located at 610 Plumb Lane in Reno, deceived customers into believing they were employees of USCIS and could help them obtain, complete and file immigration forms. Charles Doucette, Deborah Stilson and Cybil Duran Berti have been arrested and charged with six counts of obtaining money under false pretenses in the course of a technological crime, six counts of conspiracy and two counts of criminal racketeering.
Telestaffing was doing business under several names. According to the complaint, the defendants either refused to file the documents with USCIS or did nothing and kept the money.
The defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
