RENO — Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who robbed the Jackson's Market at 2595 Clear Acre Lane.

On Monday at 1:52 a.m., a white man entered the market, displayed a black handgun and ordered the cashier to the floor. The suspect then fled the scene in a small dark-colored passenger car with a unknown amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a white male, between 40 and 50 years of age with a thin build, approximately 6 feet tall with brown hair at medium length, several days growth of facial hair, wearing glasses, blue jeans, a denim jacket with a white fleece lining and collar over a light colored flannel jacket. The suspect might have a small circular scar on one of his cheeks.

Anyone who has information on the suspect is asked to contact Secret Witness at 322-4900, or the Reno Police Department Detective Division at 334-2444.
