Donald Claus
SPARKS — Northern Nevada Medical Center recently announced the hiring of Donald Claus, RN, BSN, CEN, as Emergency Department director.
Claus received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University, Bakersfield in 1995. For the past 17 years, Claus worked for Sierra View District Hospital in Porterville, Calif. He served as the Emergency Department’s Clinical Manager since 2005 where he was responsible for overseeing a 23-bed emergency room that accommodated 46,000 patients annually.
“We are pleased to welcome Donald to our team,” said Chief Nursing Officer Carla Adams. “His knowledge and experience in the medical field is an asset to our facility, and we look forward to his contributions to the hospital and overall patient care.”
