RENO — Secret Witness is offering a $750 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the burglaries of two Supercuts stores in Reno.

On Wednesday at 6:15 p.m. a man entered the Supercuts store at 59 Damonte Ranch Pkwy posing as an inspector there to check the building’s wiring. The employees allowed the suspect access to the business and he later fled out the back door with an employee’s purse. The same suspect was involved in a similar incident on Tuesday at 5:45 p.m. at the Supercuts store at 3342 Kietzke Lane when he entered the business and stated that he was there to inspect some leaky pipes. The suspect was allowed in and later exited with an employee’s purse.

The suspect is described as a white male, 35 to 40 years old, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and 200 pounds with a heavy build, dark hair, grey facial blemishes and last seen wearing a grey shirt, jeans and a baseball cap.

The Reno Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect. Anyone having information relating to this crime or the suspects should contact the Reno Police Department at 334-2115 or Secret Witness at 322-4900 or www.secretwitness.com.

All calls to Secret Witness remain anonymous, and Secret Witness pays rewards for information on all crimes.
