RENO — Secret Witness is offering rewards in two crimes that occurred on Tuesday.

The first is a $1,500 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with armed robbery of the Rancho Food Market at 2710 Wrondel Way in Reno.

On Tuesday, at 7:06 p.m. a man entered the store, pointed a handgun at an employee and customer and demanded money from the cash register. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male adult in his early 20s, about 5 feet 6 inches tall with a thin build, last seen wearing all black clothing and concealing his face.

Secret Witness also is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects wanted in connection with the drive-by shooting at a vehicle in the area of Denslowe Drive and Valley Road in Reno.

On Tuesday at 2:40 p.m., a black passenger car stopped at the stop sign westbound on Denslowe Drive at Valley Road and fired several gunshots in a northerly direction. The suspects were possibly shooting at the occupants of a smaller black SUV that was north of the intersection on Valley Road. The suspects then fled the area. No one was injured. The suspect vehicle is described as a black Honda with tinted windows and a spoiler on the back bearing Nevada license plates similar to 321-YYZ.

The Reno Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspects in both of these cases. Anyone with information relating to them, the suspect vehicle or the suspects should contact the Reno Police Department at 334-2115, Secret Witness at 322-4900 or visit

All calls to Secret Witness remain anonymous, and Secret Witness pays rewards for information on all crimes.
