RENO — The European Food Emporium will host its Fall Festival from noon to 4 p.m. on Nov. 13. Enjoy the free Thanksgiving-themed event featuring raffle prizes, lunch specials, bobbing for apples and holiday-themed food, drink and dessert samples, along with information on European wines and beers complimentary to traditional Thanksgiving meals. In addition, there will be cooking demonstrations, last-minute orders for the Emporium’s farm-raised, naturally grown turkeys as well as a variety of gift items available for purchase.

Drink sampling stations will feature pumpkin-flavored coffee and fine European wines and beers. The turkey sampling station will feature ideas on how to savor those Thanksgiving leftovers while keeping the kids busy at the turkey-shaped cookie decorating station, complete with icing, sprinkles and all the fixings.

Gift certificates and raffle prizes will be given away throughout the day, including a grand prize of the winner’s choice of either a complete traditional Thanksgiving dinner package or a complete dinner package for four valued at $79.99. Receive one raffle ticket for every purchase made during the festival, two tickets for every purchase of $50 or more, three tickets for every turkey dinner purchase and an additional raffle ticket for each food demonstration attended. Prizes are awarded each hour from 1 to 3 p.m., with a grand prize giveaway at 4 p.m.
