“We are honored to be selected among the 18 winners and recognized as one of the best projects in Nevada for this project,” said BJ Sullivan, president of Nevada-based Clark and Sullivan Construction. “The facility is a significant contribution that will not only advance medical research but will increase the school’s ability to train more students with up to 150 more student spots in biomedical science graduate programs.”
Southwest Contractor is a regional publication in Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico that covers all sectors of the construction industry. Construction projects were selected by an independent jury comprised of design and construction professionals who considered a variety of criteria for each project, from teamwork and safety to innovation and aesthetics.
The winners will be profiled in detail in the December issue of Southwest Contractor and on www.southwest.construction.com. In addition, project teams will be honored during an awards ceremony held at the Palace Station Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on Dec. 8. To register, visit www.construction.com/events/bestof2010/.
