RENO — The Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA) is offering a winterization workshop to help residents prepare their homes for cold weather and freezing temperatures.

The workshop will take place at 5:30 p.m. today at TMWA’s main office, located at 1355 Capital Blvd. in Reno. It will be led by TMWA’s conservation department.

Each winter, many homeowners face the expense and inconvenience of frozen water pipes. Avoid this expense and trouble by attending this free workshop to learn how to protect your home’s pipes freeze both inside and out.

For more information about winterization, visit the “Conservation” section of www.tmh2o.com.

To RSVP, call 834-8005 or e-mail conservation@tmwa.net.
