No matter how hard the Weston Ranch Cougars tried, Reed girls’ junior guard Tyler Sumpter seemed to always slide into an open spot before knocking down a bucket with ease. Trying to locate Sumpter while also stopping junior guard Gabby Williams proved too much for Weston Ranch as the Raiders coasted to an 83-63 victory Thursday night.

The Spanish Springs wrestling traveled to North Valleys Wednesday night for a High Desert League dual. Initially the two sides fought back and forth, but by the end of the night the Cougars had fought their way to a 59-15 victory, the 32nd straight league win for the program dating back to 2007.
