The Spring Creek football team kept its winning start to the 2013 season going with a 49-14 win against Sparks Friday at Spring Creek High School. Promptly the Sparks squad kept its losing streak going.
Sparks soccer sweeps Dayton
It wasn’t a football game but it certainly finished with a football score. Well sort of. The Sparks boys soccer team stomped Dayton 11-0 Tuesday afternoon on its home field to improve to 2-0 on the season. Senior forward Ruben Pacheco turned in his second consecutive hat trick to open the season.

A swarm of Damonte Ranch tacklers brought down Cougars quarterback Hunter Fralick at the 3-yard line with no time left on the clock and the visiting Mustangs hung on for a 32-27 non-league prep football victory.
