Football coaches see promise heading into final games
To an outsider, the Reed coaching staff might be a little spoiled. The Raiders are averaging just over 37 points an outing. They have won five of their last six games and put up 46 and 52 points the last two. And yet, after every Friday night game in recent weeks, Reed coaches are preaching, 'we need better and more consistent offensive execution.'
Saturday marked the final day of the Sparks AYSO youth soccer season. The season began in mid-August and ran through this weekend's games. The local U-8 league competed at Katherine Dunn Elementary School in east Sparks.
