The Spanish Springs girls basketball team is making a habit of getting off to strong starts. It did just that once again, scoring early and often en route to a 68-25 romp over Hug in a High Desert League matchup Thursday night.

The Spanish Springs wrestling traveled to North Valleys Wednesday night for a High Desert League dual. Initially the two sides fought back and forth, but by the end of the night the Cougars had fought their way to a 59-15 victory, the 32nd straight league win for the program dating back to 2007.
