The Sparks Invitational tournament held at Sparks High School Saturday was a nice way to break up league duals and get some young and older wrestlers some experience heading into the rest of the season.

McGee’s small frame allows him to be agile and capable of packing a potent punch, proven by the fact that he recently earned the title of the Nevada State boxing champion in the 14-15 year-old 100-pound weight class.
Cougar girls end winter break on positive note
The Spanish Springs girls basketball team avoided a three-game losing streak heading back into its league schedule by capping its appearance at a tournament in Folsom, Calif. with a blowout 68-50 win over Mira Loma Thursday.
