At the Hiram Johnson preseason softball tournament in Sacramento, Reed split its last two games of the weekend event. The Raiders fell 3-1 to Napa, Calif. Saturday morning but bounced back to beat Wooster 3-1.
Track programs set for new season
The Spanish Springs boys track and field team enjoyed unprecedented success last year. The Cougars had their first double state champion with Sullivan Stevens winning both hurdles events. And as a team, they finished in third place, following up a second-place finish at the Northern 4A championships a week earlier.
