Elko uses sixth inning rally to top Railroaders
Hosting a trio of crossover games against Division I-A North foes from the Ruby Mountain League, the Sparks High baseball team faced off against Elko Friday afternoon. Through five innings of play Sparks and the Indians were deadlocked at 3-3 before Elko broke the tie in the sixth inning. Unfortunately for the Maroon and Gold, it was unable to rally.

The Elko Indians used an eight-run third inning to blow open its prep softball game at Sparks Friday afternoon. The rally helped propel Elko to a 10-0 triumph in a mercy-rule shortened five-inning affair.
