The Reed boys basketball team sprinted out to a 42-29 lead after three quarters against Placer (Auburn, Calif.) at Wooster, Thursday night and held on for a 52-43 win in the Rail City Classic. It was the Raiders’ (3-0) third win in less than 72 hours. The win wrapped up Pool D for the Raiders who advance into the championship bracket.

The Sparks boys basketball team trailed Wooster 34-32 going into the fourth quarter before Wooster’s Shandy Hunter hit three three-pointers in less than two minutes to pull away from the Railroaders for a 48-41 road win.
