Reed boys hoopers top Placer despite ugly final quarter
The Reed boys basketball team sprinted out to a 42-29 lead after three quarters against Placer (Auburn, Calif.) at Wooster, Thursday night and held on for a 52-43 win in the Rail City Classic. It was the Raiders’ (3-0) third win in less than 72 hours. The win wrapped up Pool D for the Raiders who advance into the championship bracket.
