Local prep programs hosting youth summer camps
A new Washoe County School District calendar has shortened the summer for students across the district. So this summer of 2013 may be shorter than normal, but it will still offer plenty of opportunities for local youths, especially in the Rail City, to hone their skills in a variety of sports.

Fortunately for Holladay and a handful of others representing the Rail City, the 2013 Local Sports Program Senior All-Star Game offered one last shot to don their prep uniforms.

Suddenly though SSHS watched its two-set cushion disappear. Then in the fifth and decisive game, the Cougars found themselves down in a race to 15.
