Nevada squeaks by Wyoming in OT
After losing its starting quarterback to injury in the second quarter, the Nevada football team looked demoralized despite holding a 21-7 lead over visiting Wyoming. Slowly the Cowboys erased the two-touchdown deficit en route to grabbing a 28-21 edge at the start of the fourth quarter. Fortunately for the crowd of 24,025 at Mackay Stadium, the Wolf Pack and backup quarterback Devin Combs had some Homecoming magic up their sleeves.
