That is what the Reed girls basketball team accomplished 20 years ago during the 1991-1992 season, winning the program’s second consecutive regional and state titles.

Hug outlasts Douglas to capture Northern 4A crown
A lackluster early effort again victimized the Douglas boys basketball team. The Sierra League champion Tigers had been spelled by first-quarter and first-half deficits time and again this winter. They overcame many of them, but in Saturday’s Northern 4A final, a double-digit halftime margin proved lethal for the Minden school.
