Lady Railroaders' postseason appearance short lived

The Cougars came into the two-game set with an eight-game winning streak, having swept their previous four Div. I series. However, Spanish Springs’ run did little to intimidate the Raiders.

The Spanish Springs Cal Ripken League is the thick of its spring season. More than 600 local youths are participating in the annual spring league in this 2013 season. The league schedule runs through the first week of June. Select athletes will then represent the league in all-star tournaments.
