The University of Nevada football team traveled to San Marcos, Tex., Saturday to meet with Texas State. The visit to the newest member of the Western Athletic Conference capped an 8,000 mile road trip for the old WAC conference members and the Wolf Packs play in the first half reflected that.

Commentary: Reed robbed of victory, thieves still at large
Last Friday night in the state capitol of Nevada, there was a grand robbery. The thieves are still at large and were last seen leaving the scene of the crime wearing black pants with a white stripe down the sides, zebra print shirts, black caps and whistles around their necks.
