Nevada shoots down Pacific
Monday night, the Nevada Wolf Pack men’s basketball team dropped its second straight game, remaining winless on the young season. However, the loss is not what the team took from the 71-67 defeat to its rival UNLV. Instead, the Wolf Pack carried with it the way in which it finished the game, nearly rallying from 18 points down with just over six minutes left in the game.

If it’s mid-November, that means winter athletic programs at Nevada’s high schools have begun practice for a fast-approaching season. Sparks schools Reed and Spanish Springs have Northern 4A League games on their Opening Night, Nov. 29. Sparks, a Northern 3A member has games that same week.
