Cougars win at Somersett
The Spanish Springs girls golf team finished its regular season with an impressive team win at Somersett Golf and Country Club Tuesday. The SSHS squad turned in a team total of 377, 13 strokes better than second-place McQueen, and collected its fourth consecutive tournament win in the process.

It’s been 10 years since Spanish Springs High School opened its doors to students in the fall of 2001. While many of the Cougars athletic programs have grown and eventually flourished, there are still a few SSHS programs that have struggled to beat perennial Northern 4A powers.
