Donors fulfill Reno teacher’s online plea for art supplies
RENO – Generous donors have fully funded a project request for classroom materials submitted by Ms. Velazquez, a ninth grade teacher at Reno’s Rainshadow Community Charter High School, online education charity DonorsChoose.org announced Tuesday. Veterans Day is a day for remembering and honoring those who serve our country. Although Veterans Day is a holiday in the Washoe County School District, a number of schools are planning ceremonies to honor America’s veterans and the men and women in uniform.
Support for Sparks students adds up with free calculators
Laura White is currently teaching her fourth grade class at Alice Maxwell Elementary School the concept of order of operations in math.
