900 turkeys still needed for Christmas
The 14th annual Operation Turkey Drop happened on Wednesday. The 12-hour event, sponsored by News Talk 780 KOH radio and held at the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa, brought in more than 2,100 turkeys between a combination of birds and monetary donations.

UNR to hold one free clinic in December
The University of Nevada School of Medicine’s Student Outreach Clinic date for December has been announced for Dec. 11 from 8 a.m. to noon. This is a general clinic serving adults and children and is the only clinic scheduled for this month due to the holidays.
