Missing hunter is found OK
A 67-year-old hunter reported missing a week ago has been located. On Oct. 18 at about 11 p.m., the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a lost hunter in the area of Hays Canyon in northern Washoe County. The man had been hunting with his son and two grandsons when he departed at 5:30 p.m. to prepare dinner. GOLDFIELD — On Friday at 8:08 p.m., Timothy Daugherty, 44, of Pahrump was struck and killed on U.S. 95 at mile post 5 in Esmeralda County (about two miles north of Lida Junction/State Route 266).
