Pair of suspects sought in Stead Subway robbery
RENO — Police are looking for two men who robbed the Subway restaurant at 10603 Stead Blvd. on Sunday. At 2:51 a.m., two Hispanic men entered the 24-hour restaurant wearing bandannas on their faces. Fight leaves one man stabbed, seriously hurt
RENO — A man was stabbed several times during a fight Friday night. At about 7:30 p.m., Reno police officers responded to a motel in the 500 block of Lake Street. Officers found one of the combatants was bleeding profusely and called for emergency medical service. Police ID man who died tubing on Truckee River
RENO — A 21-year-old man who drowned Saturday while inner tubing with friends on the Truckee River has been identified by police. The Reno-Gazette Journal reports that Landon Rosen was found late Saturday night by authorities who had been called by Rosen’s friends earlier in the day. The group had been floating on the river throughout the day when Rosen disappeared around 4 p.m. near Oxbow Park. His body was found near Idlewild Park.
