RENO — Wednesday afternoon at about 4:30 p.m. Washoe County Search and Rescue units located the body of a female in the designated search area for Luanne Oakes, a 57-year-old Reno resident reported missing earlier in the day. RENO — Police arrested two men at about 4 a.m. Friday in the area of 955 Maplewood Drive for a residential burglary that just occurred. Sparks armed robbery arrest
On Nov. 1 at about 2:50 p.m., a man entered the Fair Deal Market located at 1695 Sullivan Lane and pulled out a black handgun. The man demanded money. He fled after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash and phone cards. The suspect was believed to be Asian wearing a sweatshirt with “I (red heart) TMAHS.” The robbery was captured on video surveillance.

Driver arrested for felony DUI and warrant
On Wednesday at about 9:30 p.m., a trooper with the Nevada Highway Patrol conducted a traffic enforcement stop near North McCarran Boulevard and Clear Acre Lane in Reno after witnessing a motorist make an unsafe or improper lane change. The driver of the black 1989 Oldsmobile four-door sedan was identified as 29-year-old Justin D. Riley of Fernley.

Foot pursuit near US 395 ends in arrest
On Wednesday at 10:39 p.m., a trooper with the Nevada Highway Patrol conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a white 2000 Kia four-door sedan for not having any visible registration. The traffic stop took place on the northbound on ramp to U.S. 395 at the Moana Lane interchange. The trooper made contact with the male driver and male passenger.
