State launches automated victim info service

Man arrested in robbery case
On Tuesday at 7:11 p.m., officers were sent to the Vitamin World at 6135 S. Virginia St. in Reno on the report of an armed robbery in progress, where witnesses were reporting that the suspect held a gun to the clerk’s face.
Driver arrested after hitting an unmarked police vehicle
On Wednesday at 2:41 p.m., an unmarked police vehicle entered the southbound travel lanes south of Parr Boulevard onto U.S. 395. As the unmarked vehicle was traveling southbound in the fast lane, a red Toyota Rav4 driven by William Richard Kaboos, a 67-year-old man from Fallon, struck the unmarked vehicle in the rear with the front of the Rav4.
Update: South Reno robbery suspect arrested
A witness to a robbery that occurred in south Reno on Monday at about 10:30 p.m. was able to obtain a partial license plate for the suspect vehicle. Officers were able to determine a possible suspect and vehicle based upon the witness information.
Armed robbery in south Reno
On Monday at 10:32 p.m., officers of the Reno Police Department responded to 4600 Mira Loma Drive on the report of a female who was robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot. The suspect later fled in a vehicle with the victim’s purse.
