Repeat offender arrested in Reno
RENO — In the early morning hours on Monday, the Quick Mart gas station, located at 500 Kietzke Lane was burglarized. The suspect, who was identified through a secret witness tip as 48-year-old Michael Bork, rammed a stolen cargo van into the business. The force of the impact created an opening into the business. Firefighters respond to brush fire in Sutcliffe
RENO — Thursday at 11:35 a.m., Reno firefighters responded with the Bureau of Land Management and volunteers from the Sutcliffe and Nixon volunteer fire departments to a brush fire that was threatening nearby structures in the 2500 block of Desert Flower Lane in Sutcliffe. Heroin ring taken down
  SPARKS – On June 17, detectives of the Regional Street Enforcement Team (SET) initiated an investigation into a group of suspected heroin dealers. As a result of this investigation, a search warrant was obtained and executed at 800 Nichols Blvd. in Sparks on Friday. As a result, 441.9 grams of heroin and 302.2 grams of cocaine were recovered.  The street value of the Heroin recovered is estimated at $30,000 and the cocaine at about $24,000. ...
